What Is Flamingle™?
Flamingle™ ("You Single? Let's Flamingle.") is a brand, a movement, and a growing ecosystem designed to help singles get off the apps and back into the real world. The core mechanic is simple: branded merchandise that signals I'm single and open. One symbol, one meaning. Strangers see the flamingo and know they have permission to approach.
The app is the digital layer that connects the physical movement — scannable profiles, an opt-in heat map of nearby Flaminglers, event discovery, and a community feed. Think less dating app, more movement infrastructure.
The brand is built, the merch is launching, and the pilot is Denver. This role is Denver-local.
A Fully Scoped Product Waiting to Be Built.
The product requirements document is complete. The brand, visual identity, and color system are established. You're not walking into a napkin idea — you're walking into a real spec with a real brand behind it.
- Flamingle Card — scannable digital profile shared person-to-person via QR. No stranger browsing. Connections only with people you've actually met.
- "I'm Out" Mode — anonymized opt-in heat map showing nearby Flaminglers and Flamingle Friendly venues.
- Double-blind contact exchange — neither party's contact info is revealed until both confirm. Mutual opt-in only.
- Event discovery — local Flamingle events surfaced in-app.
- "Spotted in the Wild" feed — UGC photo submissions from the community.
- Flamingle Friendly venue profiles — commercial partners register in the app, manage their profile, post weekly events, and list Flamingle discounts. Venues appear on the "I'm Out" heat map when a flamboyance is forming nearby.
- Merch store integration — Shopify embedded in-app.

An Engineer Who Cares How It Feels.
Someone who has shipped real mobile apps, takes pride in the product experience — not just the architecture — and wants to own something from the ground up.
- Proven experience with React Native and mobile app development
- Comfortable with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service
- Strong product instincts and mobile UI sensibility — you don't need to be a designer, but you care how it looks and feels
- Self-directed — you can take a PRD and run with it without being managed
- Entrepreneurial mindset — excited by equity, not just a paycheck
- Denver-local — this is a boots-on-the-ground partnership
- Looking for a contract or a salaried job
- Someone who needs to be handed a detailed spec for every screen
- A backend-only engineer with no interest in the product experience
Chief Technology Officer
You own the app — architecture, build, launch, and ongoing development. You're not a contractor executing someone else's vision. You're a co-builder who has real say in how the product evolves, with the full support of the founder on brand, business, and product strategy.
The PRD is written and the brand direction is clear. What we need is someone to bring it to life and make it better than what's on paper.
Time commitment: 15–20 hours per week to start, with a clear path to full-time as the brand grows and funding follows traction.

The person in this role isn't support — they're a primary architect of what this becomes.
